Lamplight Studio is operated by James LaLone Consulting, LLC, a California business. This policy explains how we handle information from this website, inquiries and client payments.
Information we collect and why
When you send a message through our website, we receive your venue name, the email address or phone number you provide for a reply, and any project note you add. We use that information to respond, discuss your project and prepare a quote. If you become a client, we use your contact details, project correspondence and billing records to deliver the work and manage payments.
Our hosting and security providers may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type and requested pages to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.
Who receives information
We use FormSubmit to forward website inquiries to our email inbox. Our email and hosting providers help us receive messages and operate the site. We do not sell personal information or use inquiry details for targeted advertising. We may disclose information when required by law or to prevent fraud or misuse.
If we send you a payment link, you enter payment details on Stripe’s checkout page. We receive billing and transaction information, such as the payer’s name, email, amount and payment status, but do not receive your full card number or security code. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
Cookies and Do Not Track
We do not use advertising or analytics tools that track visitors across websites, and we do not enable third-party tools to do so on our pages. The website works the same way when a browser sends a Do Not Track signal. External services and sites you visit, including Stripe, may use their own cookies and collect information under their own policies.
How long we keep information
FormSubmit says it keeps submitted inquiries in its archive for 30 days. We keep email and project records as needed to respond, deliver services, meet accounting and legal obligations, and resolve disputes.
